Executing the Business Plan
Senior management makes dozens of decisions every day…so does everyone else in the organization. In the rapidly changing environment of growing companies, how can management insure that those dozens of decisions and associated follow through are aligned with the company’s strategies and plans?
In a growing company, the risk of making both tactical and strategic decisions
that are not supportive of the company’s business plans is significant.
A Senior Director hired last month is thrust into a highly responsible job
and asked to make decisions without the background he/she and the senior team
would desire.
Major and mundane decisions are made daily. Not everyone in the company possesses
the intuitive knowledge of the business plan the senior team might possess.
One morning the ‘wheels come off’ and in retrospect bad decisions
were made by employees who simply didn’t know better.
TFG’s DSII-MORDE® model
applies to an orderly thought process to help insure that everyday decisions
are made consistent with the basic strategies of the company.
The Focused Debriefing® template
provides management a structured yet efficient way to find out what went wrong/right,
and correct/replicate actions and behaviors.
