The senior management team of growing companies is constantly changing…in ways over and above the obvious.


The makeup of the team changes as the company grows. Some founders and original executives will likely leave the firm. New executives are brought in. There will be promotions from within.


Not so obvious are the mandatory changes for the individuals themselves. Assignments and responsibilities are constantly changing. It is very unlikely the duties of an executive will be the same at the end of the year as they were at the beginning…even though his or her job title may remain the same.
